Education & Experience

Psychology

Darryl earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Alcorn State University.

This educational foundation supports an understanding of human behavior, communication, relationships, decision making, and the dynamics that influence individuals and groups.

Conflict Management

Darryl earned a Master's degree in Conflict Management from Abilene Christian University.

This background supports her work in examining difficult situations, competing interests, communication breakdowns, organizational challenges, and pathways toward productive resolution.

Mediation

Darryl also completed mediation training through Abilene Christian University.

Mediation provides an additional framework for listening, identifying underlying concerns, facilitating difficult conversations, and helping individuals and groups work toward practical solutions.

Military Leadership

Darryl was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army upon graduating from Alcorn State University and served as a Military Intelligence Officer in both the Active Army and Army Reserve.

Military service strengthened her experience in leadership, preparation, accountability, communication, adaptability, decision making, and responsibility.

Entrepreneurship

As a serial entrepreneur, Darryl understands that business decisions happen in the real world.
